Prices for a professional DJ can be given on an event-based rate so you know the exact costs upfront. This is the recommended and preferred method for determining the cost of a local DJ. We can also provide a quote on a cost-per-hour basis, which varies depending on the DJ requested and the length and type of event. What Affects the Cost of a DJ in Miami

No two events price out the same way, and that’s a good thing — you should only pay for what your event actually needs. When we put a quote together, these are the details that move the number:

The DJ you request. Every DJ on our roster has a different specialty and a different level of demand, so the DJ you choose is the biggest single factor in your quote.
The type of event. A wedding reception with an MC, a club night, a corporate product launch and a pool party each call for a different setup.
How long you need us. Whether we quote per event or per hour, the length of the night is part of the math.
Where it’s held. We cover Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties — tell us the venue and city when you reach out.
Upgrades and add-ons. LED screens, LED lighting, an LED mirrored dance floor, CO2 jet cannons, cold sparks and smoke or fog machines are optional package upgrades, quoted separately.

Cost Per Event or Cost Per Hour: Which Should You Choose?

Most clients go with the per-event rate, and it’s the method we recommend. You get one number upfront that covers the whole night, so there’s nothing to track and nothing to calculate when the music stops. That works especially well for weddings, corporate events, and any night where the timeline might shift a little.

Cost per hour makes more sense when your event is short or the end time genuinely isn’t settled — a two-hour pool party, or a club set with an open finish. Either way you’ll know the rate before you book.
