DJ Upgrades
Sound is what people hear. These are what they remember. LED screens, uplighting, CO2 jets, cold sparks, fog and mirrored dance floors — added to any DJ package across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
DJ Service Package Upgrades
Every effect below is an add-on to any of our DJ services — weddings, corporate events, parties, quinces and club nights. We supply, install, programme, operate and break down everything ourselves, so you are dealing with one vendor rather than coordinating three.
Some effects are for the whole night. Some are for one moment. Lighting and dance floors run for hours and change how the entire room feels. Sparks and CO2 exist to land a specific beat — the entrance, the first dance, the peak of the set. Knowing which is which is most of what makes a package work, so there is a short guide below before the individual pages.
Live camera feeds, slideshows, monograms and music visuals on a screen sized to your room. Runs all night and carries the story of the event.
Uplighting, moving heads, beams and monogram projection. The cheapest way to transform a room, and the upgrade with the widest effect for the money.
Cold white fog blasts fired live on the beat. No residue, no cleanup, no open flame — often approved where sparks are not.
Programmable mirrored panels with infinity-mirror depth, sized to your guest count and set to your colour palette.
Low-lying fog for the dancing-on-the-clouds first dance, and haze that makes light beams visible for the rest of the night.
Indoor-friendly spark fountains for grand entrances and first dances. Venue approval and sometimes a permit apply — we help you clear it.
Colour in the air for the moments that matter — the grand entrance, the first dance, the last song. Fired live on the beat by your DJ, and swept up before we leave.
Which Effect for Which Moment
Walking in. Cold sparks flanking the doors, or CO2 on the first beat. Both give you the photograph. Sparks read as fireworks; CO2 is louder and cooler and has fewer venue restrictions.
Dinner. Uplighting in a warm, still colour, an LED screen running a slideshow, and a dance floor sitting quietly in a low-key programme. Nothing moving, nothing loud.
The first dance. Low-lying fog across the floor, lighting dropped to a single wash, and the screen on a live camera feed so the back tables can see. This is the moment most worth spending on.
Opening the dance floor. Lighting shifts to saturated colour, moving heads come up, haze goes in so the beams read, and the mirrored floor switches to its active programme.
Peak of the night. CO2 jets on the drop. This is what they are for, and why we plan the tank count around two or three specific moments rather than firing continuously.
The last song. One more spark or CO2 hit, screen on the live feed, floor at full brightness. Send everyone out on the peak.

DJ Upgrade FAQs
Can I add upgrades to any DJ package?
Yes. Every effect on this page is an add-on to any of our DJ services, whether that is a wedding, a corporate event, a quince or a club night. DJ rates start at $95 per hour and effects are quoted on top.
Which upgrade gives the biggest impact for the money?
Lighting, almost always. Uplighting changes the entire room for less than most single effects cost, and it works for the whole event rather than one moment. Spark and CO2 effects are for moments; lighting is for the night.
Can we combine several effects?
Yes, and most events do. A common combination is uplighting all night, haze once dancing starts, and either cold sparks or CO2 for the entrance and the peak. We plan the sequence so effects land at different moments rather than competing.
Do any of these need venue permission?
Cold sparks most often, and sometimes a fire-department permit depending on your city. Haze frequently requires smoke detectors to be isolated in advance. CO2 and lighting are usually straightforward. We check with your venue before you commit.
How far in advance should I book upgrades?
As early as you can, and at least two to three weeks for anything involving a permit or custom artwork such as a monogram gobo. Equipment availability tightens in peak season from October through May.
Do you set everything up and take it down?
Yes. Delivery, install, programming, live operation and breakdown are included for every upgrade. You provide an install window and access.
What if my venue will not allow an effect?
We will tell you before you pay for it and suggest an alternative. CO2 jets substitute well for cold sparks; a mirrored dance floor and lighting deliver drama where atmospheric effects are restricted. Ask us and we will work it out.
