Our DJs

Meet Our South Florida DJ Team

The best place to find local South Florida DJs. Every DJ on our roster is a working professional with a genre specialty rather than a generalist with a laptop — and we match one to your event rather than sending whoever is free.

We run a roster of around twelve DJs, with availability varying by event type and season. Between them they cover weddings, corporate events, club nights, private parties, quinces and pool events across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Most MC in both English and Spanish.

How We Match a DJ to Your Event

We ask three things. The date, the venue, and who is actually attending. Those three answers narrow the roster faster than any questionnaire, because they tell us the room, the volume and the musical range the night needs.

Genre specialty comes first. A salsa DJ knows which songs the dancers in the room will take the floor for. A house DJ knows how long to hold a groove. A wedding DJ knows how to time a reception around a photographer and a caterer. These are different skills and we do not pretend otherwise.

Then room experience. A 300-guest hotel ballroom, a Wynwood warehouse and a Brickell rooftop each behave differently. We put forward someone who has worked that kind of room before.

Then language. If half your guest list is Spanish-speaking, the MC work matters as much as the mixing. Tell us the mix and we will match accordingly.

You get a name, not a placeholder. Once matched, you know who is coming, and for weddings and larger events you will speak to them before the day.

What to Ask Any DJ Before You Book

These are the questions worth asking any DJ company, including us. If a vendor cannot answer them clearly, that tells you something.

  • Will the DJ I speak to be the DJ who shows up? Some companies sell with one person and send another.
  • What happens if they are ill? A single operator has no answer to this. A roster does.
  • Do you carry liability insurance? Many venues require proof from vendors before they will let anyone load in.
  • Is backup equipment on site? Not in a warehouse — on site.
  • How do requests get handled? The answer should be a judgement call, not a blanket yes or no.
  • Is MC work included or extra? Ours is included. Not everyone is.
  • What does the quote actually cover? Hours, setup time, travel, and whether ceremony coverage is separate from reception.

DJ Roster FAQs

How many DJs are on your roster?

Around twelve, though the number available varies by event type and time of year. Peak season runs October through May and Saturdays go first, so the earlier you ask the wider the choice.

Can I request a specific DJ?

Yes, subject to availability on your date. If your first choice is booked we will tell you straight away rather than substituting quietly, and we will suggest someone with a comparable specialty.

Can I meet or speak to the DJ before the event?

Yes. For weddings and larger events a planning conversation with your actual DJ is part of the process, not an upsell. You should know who is showing up.

Do your DJs speak Spanish?

Most of the roster MCs in both English and Spanish, and several work in Portuguese. Bilingual hosting is included rather than charged as an add-on.

What happens if my DJ is ill on the day?

We have a roster rather than a single operator, which is the practical reason to book a company over an individual. Your event details, timeline and music list are on file, so a replacement arrives briefed rather than improvising.

Are your DJs insured and do they carry backup equipment?

Yes to both. Many venues require proof of liability insurance from vendors and we supply it on request. Backup gear travels to every event because equipment does occasionally fail.

Do the DJs MC as well?

Yes. Introductions, announcements, dedications and run-of-show cues are part of the standard service. If you would rather the DJ stay off the microphone, tell us during planning. Contact us to check availability.
